Job Description
The Bookkeeper provides support to the Administrative Team, including the Operations Manager, Office Manager, and Project Manager. The Bookkeeper is responsible for recording and maintaining financial records and general office administrative duties. Primary responsibilities include accounts payable/receivable, bank deposits, reconciliations, data entry, preparing of quarterly tax filings, and a variety of clerical duties under the general direction of the Operations Manager. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, strong analytical, mathematical, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a balance among multiple priorities. The Bookkeeper will have the ability to work independently on projects from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Responsibilities:
AR/AP – Manage accounts payable and receivable for multiple entities. Complete and maintain invoice documentation. Ensure payments and deposits are accurate.
Construction Administration Assistance – Oversee construction administration initiatives and oversee consistency for filing, vendor management, and other administrative tasks.
Accounting – Manage accounting data entry, check distribution, account reconciliation, and coordination with the firm’s CPA and Operations Manager.
Account Oversight – Daily monitoring of bank accounts and credit cards for irregular activity.
Weekly reporting of balances. Maintain checks and balances systems implemented by the company.

Requirements
5+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online
5+ years of experience working in an office
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Must have a thorough understanding of GAAP
Construction industry experience is highly preferred High energy and a strong record of creativity and innovation Excellent written and verbal skills
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Associate’s Degree required.
